Roller Coaster on CanvasWhen you put this game in your console, dont expect a challenge, expect more of an experiance you'll never forget. From the breathe taking backgrounds to the witful conversations you have with Elika, this game has opened a new door to platfrom games. The detail of the characters areamazing from the princes sweet gauntlet to elikas ankle bracelet, they left nothing out. When you get a feel for how automatic the prince is, you feel like you on a roller coaster on the loose. Going up and down, running on walls, ceilings, and poles.Elika is pretty much your monkey girlfriend with super powers. As you go through the game you collected light seeds for her to get new powers that activate plates for her to use. One flings you across the level to another plate and another makes you fly as you hold on to her and dodge buildings and pillers with a couple more in between.

Persia

And the story wraped around her past is well written. With her father wanting to release an evil god and the prince loosing his donkey and getting stuck in a heavanly war gives the prince plenty of time to complain about his situation as you go throughThe fighting is totally new and something ive never seen. If youve played the PS2 prince of persia's, dont expect to know what your doing. All fights are one on one and happen rarely. This was the only downfall for me and didnt get a perfect score. Im the kind of gamer that wouldve liked to use my sword a little more. Plus you never die, every time you fall, Elika grabs you and puts you back a little farther.

I like a challenge but it works for the game. As you fight, the prince and Elika work together to bring the baddies down by linking there moves together. Up to a 14 hit combo! As you fight it is just a beautiful sight to see the 2 working together flipping eachother around and pretty much just kicking ass!the developers knew what they wanted to create and they did it with flying colors and that was to feel like your in a painting that has come to life and give you a ride that one has done to date. Disappointing SequelI have been a big fan of the Prince of Persia series ever since the Gamecube game Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and have loved that game and the two sequels Warrior Within and Two Thrones. I had hoped that this game would at least live up to a modest set of expectations since it was now on an XBox 360 and not on a Gamecube, assuming a few control schemes and gameplay thematics being a little different. Sad to say, it did not live up to my expectations.

The combat system has been dumbed down and not quite as fluid as when the new combo engine was introduced in Warrior Within. The traditional moves that the Prince can perform like the wall run and such have a sluggish and stubborn feel to them that causes gamers who have hair-trigger responses that were needed in previous Prince of Persia games to feel like I was gaming through mud. The aspect of being able to rewind, speed up, and slow down time has been taken completely out of your control and put into the power of a CP who rescues you every time you fall too far. You almost never die. I know the point of a good gaming experience is to die as little as possible, but that's only something nice when there's actual risk, which there is none here.

The graphics leave something to be desired and the Prince's attire and demeanor make it seem as if someone spilled their Final Fantasy coffee on my Prince of Persia bagel. The clawed gauntlet is an interesting edition that allows you to scale walls and slide down them like you didn't used to be able to. Or could you.this gauntlet is just a replacement for (shock of shocks) the dagger's ability to slide down the wall, like when there was a hanging tapestry or curtain. Overall, the gameplay, the combat system and graphical wow factor are all a bit mediocre and generally feels too sluggish and glossed over. Pretty good game up until the endingI bought this game because it looked pretty interesting. I read that there were other Prince of Persia games in the past but when I saw this come out with the commercials and all, I just had to play it. Happens to be a year and some months later though.

It's a long game so I'll give it credit for that. The worlds are real interesting looking and full of color, even when corrupted. Finding the light seeds aren't hard, just hard to get to a few of them. The one thing I didn't expect from this game was the ending. It was upsetting to me in a way but kind of impressing how it was done with the credits rolling while still playing. I liked the game and because there's an Epilogue for an extra 800 Microsoft points, you'll be able to play the game for a few more hours longer, having a possibly dif ferent ending. It deserves a 3 but I liked the game.I would have figured the Epilogue should have been on the second disc making it a true Limited Edition game.

But I'm not complaining since I got this for a real good price. Prince of Persia: Limited Edition - Xbox360Like previous Prince of Persia titles, This one is packed with platforming puzzles and an intriguing story line. The extras on the bonus disk are okay, but not especially all that great.

Prince

Some minor behind the scenes specials and the game's soundtrack, some artwork, and a 'mini-strategy guide' aren't all that impressive. Good for someone who really enjoys that sort of thing, or has to have the special editions of any game they buy. The game is worth playing, but unless you're a hard-core collector, just stick with the standard edition.
