I have a very slow netbook with Windows 7 Starter (x86) and it ran horrible. I than decided to install Vista on to it, it still lagged and it took less ram than what Windows 7 uses. The only issues i had with Vista was the fact that my drivers weren't installed so it made it difficult for me to use it.So i used a different laptop to download my drivers and install them on the netbook. Only half worked but the only problem i had was how i wasn't able to use DirectX3D or connect the computer to an external display.
